AK is the best
starting hand in poker, starting being the key work. I have seen many people die in tourny's with this hand. I don't understand why people do it but I see it happen way to often. As xmanpike said, if you are short stacked it is the hand you dream of seeing before the blinds eat you up. But if you are in a good position as far as chips go, if you don't hit the flop and your pot odds arent with you for the turn/river, please lay it down.
