Default Morongo Casino

I thought that it was pretty interesting that the Poker Superstars Tournament televised before the Superbowl was at the Morongo Casino near Palm Springs, California. I has just visited there recently. I don't golf, but Palm Springs is a playground for the Rich and Famous with many golf premium courses.

The Morongo is located about 90 minutes from Los Angeles and is located near a large Shopping Outlet Mall. This is important for us married guys who want to gamble while the wifey is out shopping. It is a nice, fairly new casino with a N/S Poker Room that is well managed with about 30 - 40 of the usual Limit and NL games. I sat at the $2-4 Limit table and waited for premium cards. On my second hour I got dealt AKs on the button and raised. I got three callers and flopped the Nut Flush. EP bet and I called because I wanted to raise on the Turn to maximize my profit. Everyone checked to me on the River, which I bet and they called. Much to their supprise, I showed them the Nuts.

Also got dealt AA and KK, which I bet and both held up and got paid off. A couple of the players said they were 18 and 19 years old. Anyone know what the minimum age is to gamble in California? OR is 18 the minimum on these Indian Reservations.

Iceberg.
