a war's aim is to win (well most wars!), and so should be your aim in a tournament.
cash games it's about a steady progress upwards, no need to risk your chips at any point like in tournaments where you play the situation and not the cards.
when blinds get high it's crucial to find a good position to push all in with any cards in order to win the blinds for survival, and also victory |
