It is over. The Corporation finished up on Beal by about 3.3M. Ted Forrest played against him most of the time, Todd Brunson was first to play and lost a little. Jennifer Harmann lost and David Grey played for only a few minutes because Ted wanted some more action. It took place over 5 days. Andy Beal wanted to keep the sessions short, which would help him, but Ted and Jennifer dragged out the sessions.
Andy Beal played good poker. Don't disrespect him in any way, you have to admit it takes guts to play against pros with $50k/$100k blinds in limit. It was very back and forth for the most part, until Ted hit a run of cards and made a couple full houses on the flop. He also made quad queens and got some good money. Andy folded a few ones like when he flopped top two and Ted rivered a set. He showed his cards in disgust at the river and Ted showed his rivered set.
I can't wait for a book to come out on this one. |
