That's awesome flopping quads, but this isn't a really bad beat in any way that I see it. You made a standard raise with JJ and he made a minimum raise. Never min. raise with AA! He was too worried about getting action that he didn't even consider the possibility of being beaten. If I were him I would have raised a more substantial amount, but if you had still called an allin or something preflop then I guess it couldn't have been avoided. That woulda been a horrible beat, but IMHO he played the hand stupidly and let you make your hand. |
