Playing live is certainly different. I'm certain that with enough practice you can learn to control your emotions better and become a better live player. One thing that you need to remember is guys like Danny N. get away with smiling and being happy players and yet they aren't giving away their hands. I've watched Danny enough on t.v. and actually picked up a few tells of his. Same with Farha he has a couple also. Generally, they hide it well though. I'm sure all of us have tells that we aren't aware of. Guys like Jesus always use the same amount of time before they act to cut down on their tells. The problem with online is that you can sit in your room and yell at your monitor, swear and go crazy but you can't do that live. Learn to control it, you'll find live poker much more stimulating. |
