My understand is that the WPT is in a lot of trouble. They tried to force licensing agreement on players and many have refused to agree to it. Many of them can't agree to it as they have contracts with other companies. The travel channel which aired the WPT last year, so I've heard, signed an agreement to air the Pro Players Tour. Which might be the replacement for the WPT. Probably why Mrs. Hyatt quit. |
