got a big wake up call a couple of months ago when I played totally erratically and got my just desserts. Being a bit of a novice I ranted and raved about for a bit instead of eating humble pie.
Two months later, and 3 books later (david sklanskys tournament poker being my favourite!!) I think I have become a better player and more knowledgeable than I was ever before.
These things are all done to the people. Before I was just a poor poker player who thought he could play, NOW I honestly think that I can play poker and play it well, and its all down to you guys.
