 When is it ok to go all in?

Just wondering what are the situations you want to go all in? Last night made a stupid mistake of going all in, in a freeroll (im still learning). 50 people were left out of the 5000, blinds were 12,000 I had 400,000. I had JJ with the BB 3 people called the BB I moved all in.
Flop came out ac,10h,jc turn was 8c, river was 3c. Lost to ace spades queen of clubs.
I was just wondering at what times do you want to go all in and when do you not. |
