I agree Dof, and I know a that a lot of American ESPN writers have mentioned HNIC as being FAR superior to any american broadcast.
As for the playoffs this year, it looks like I may need to go watch my Leafs on the golf course instead.....
They really need to pick it up - big win over Tampa last night. Hopefully that will get the ball rolling.
As for the FLyers, they are having some struggles of their own recently. Not in any danger of missing the postseason, but certainly hurting their standing. But, like you said BSGutshot, if they can keep guys like Nittymakki, Forsberg, Gagne, Knuble and the likes, they have a legitimate shot at taking it down this year.
I'm not feeling as confident about my earlier prediction, mainly due to the Red Wings. I assumed they would slow down due to their old age, but they certainly haven't, and must be considered as a cup favorite.
I just can't see Carolina making it to the finals - but I've been wrong, and surprised before.
