I think I am advanced but when I play against hacks i notice my level of play drops, now i personally do not think that anyone can truly judge there poker ability by simply on line play, for no matter what anyone tells me i really never completely trust the games to be honest. this is a little off the subject but i will explain why i feel this way about online poker.
It is due to the fact that poker sites base there income around how much they can rake, therefore giving people better hole cards and more straight and flush draws on the table enhance their take. i have especiallly noticed this at the ipoker sites.
anyways so i dont try to judge my play purely off online play, i find in persone i am strong my biggest weaknesses are showing tells, this is due to too much online play, and not being able to put weaker players on the right hand, last week in a tourney i lost out to a person hitting a straight with the hole card 57 i hit two pair with ace jack on the turn he already had the straight i noticed that is was on the table but i was like there is no way in hell that this dude could have called my initial raise pre flop with five seven, well it busted me out pretty much, so that was my bad,but a sound player in my opinion would never have called a raise three times the big blind against me. oh well so maybe noit expert but advanced.  |
