yes there are people using programs called poker bots on the internet poker sites, i personally do not have a problem with it because poker is not chess, and anyone can figure odds and figure how people will behave in certain situations. the only advantage i truly see a so called poker bot having is that it will have infinite patience which is a great assett to have, i think half of the tourneys where i have had a chip lead and didnt win was due to the fact i got anxiouus. so unless someone has access to an algorithm figuring out a sights next card or a way of seeing cards that are not dealt i have no problem with it. |
