I dont know if this is mathematically true or not but it brings up another point about 7 stud (or any other stud game like razz or 8s or better). Its is very important that you can keep track of other players cards that they have already mucked. For example if you have 4 cards to a dimond flush and there where already 6 dimonds mucked by other players, you know that there probaly isnt a very good chace of you caughting one of the last three dimonds. So if you are chasing you can figure out if you have a mathematically correct decsion calling another bet to try to make your flush.
