You might try to run a Clean Up program on it. I don't have a laptop with Windows XP Pro on it but our computers at work are all Windows XP Pro networked and we have a program called Clean Up! that gets rid of all the junk cached files. I never knew they kept so many!!! It gets rid of all the junk and it really speeds things up. You might try this before clearing everything and starting over. |
