was in a freeroll last nite .....Ihad not played a hand in ohhh maybe 30 hands including my blinds I folded ....I finally get pocket kings I made an appropiate bet of 6x the BB the small blind reraises me 500 chips....I go all in with my final 7k in chips which would put this guy in to all but 2k of his chips....he calls me and turns over a king 2....I am thinking great I double up ....noooooooooooo....the flop is q 2 2 ...he has a set of two's and I am now outof the tourny....
The guy had nothing and totally ignored the dust on my chips, my tight play and the allin reraise....I can only assume that the same scenario in a buyin would have caused a fold/laydown...but not in a freeroll....but and I see this alot in freerolls, how can you fight your way thru 80 to 90% of the players to still play allin with nothing. |
