Its in the NLHE section, but the posted clearly stated that this is LHE. His mistake. But now everyone should rethink the situation, b/c its a big difference. Re-post for LHE.
To me, position matters most when I'm dealt a low pkt pair. If I'm in EP, I'll fold 66-22. If in LP, and nobody has entered the pot, then I'm RAISING. If in LP and there are more than 1 or 2 callers, I'll call too. But if in LP, and there are raises, I'll fold.
The low pkt pairs arent a very good drawing hand. Your basically hoping to hit a set to take the pot. I'd rather play a hand that has more drawing possibilities....i.e. Suited connectors JT and above are my favorites, and of course, your JJ's, QQ's, KK's, and AA's b/c more often then not, if they are the best hand PF, they tend to hold up.
