This is my new favorite sites for a number of reasons...
1. Competition - To say it pure and simple, the people here suck. I've played up to $1/$2 limit, and there are tons of people just betting on straight draws and people who call with anything. I've played at a few poker sites before, and the competition here seams to be the easiest. I've also played up to $10 heads up, and I've been winning 2/3 of them and not because I have been getting lucky. Same goes for single table tournaments and multi-table tournaments, though I have yet to enter any big tournaments for more then a $5.00. Keep in mind that this also adds to a lot more bad beats. My first night here, I was getting bad beat after bad beat, probably my unluckiest night ever playing poker. By the end of the night I lost more than %60 of my deposit.
2. Software - I've played at many poker sites and I think the software here is the best. I don't like sites where you can see your 3d character at the table, it is just unneccasary and a waste of space. When I say this I am reffering to sites like
noble poker and
poker.com. Searching for tables is cimple and intuitive as it should be and I can't seem to think of any complaints about the software. It's nothing fancy, but that's the way I think it should be.
3. Extras -
Bodog also gives you all the essential stats on your playing and lets you take notes on all the people at the table. Some nice extras
Final Thoughts...
I don't think they have any great bonuses or anything. I think there is an %20 percent deposit bonus up to a certain amount that I can't recall.
The reason I think the competition is so bad is because
Bodog is also a sports betting site and I feel a lot of Sports better who aren't that great poker players come to play at the lower stakes. If my theory is correct though, the competion at the higher stake tables is probably harder. Speaking of which, there is plenty of traffic by the $10/$20 tables but that seems to be the highest playable stakes they offer.
