think too that a lot of the ones who go all-in with AA (or AK, AQ, AJ, etc. or any pocket pair, low or high for that matter) are most likely newbies. I know because I used to do the same thing when I first started playing! lol I soon found out that pocket deuces were not all-in material , and that if you play your aces correctly, you can bilk your opponents for all they're worth! True, I have been outdrawn many times and lost, but a lot of those beats were due to me being too stubborn to fold my hand when the other player obviously had a flush, etc. to beat me. So yes, you have to realize that AA is not invincible when you play them, and know that sometimes, to play smart, you have to know when to fold those bad boys and not be blinded by the beauty that is Pocket Aces! lol

PS:
tks to juicee !!!!

just as a general rule of thumb.

Pocket aces isn't such a great hand post-flop.
even worse when you are up against 2 opponents or more.

keeping that in mind, when playing tourneys, Aces aren't such a great hand in the early stages of the game where the blinds are very low in relation to your stack.
Aces is a hand where you win small but lose big in early stages of the game
(that is of course, excluding all the maniacs that will bust out early calling your bets with bottom pair)

what does that mean? it means that in early stages of tourneys, u bet big preflop with your aces to thin the field. but on the flop u should always try and keep the pot small. ie, betting 3/4 of the pot rather than a potsize bet.
why? there will be more bettting on the turn and the river, meaning that your following bet sizes will end up being bigger if the pot is big,

if your aces don't improve on the flop, it's quitea vulnerable hand,
and you should always be ready to let it go when u face reraises on the flop/turn.

in the later stages of the tourney where blinds are high relative to your stacks, aces become much more powerful as there is less implied odds for other players to play low PP, suited connectors etc.

ALL IN!!!! everytime just push all in and u will win more then u will lose. do not slow play pocket aces. that is the worst thing to do. u will get busted and then cry when his 69os beats ur aces. its not worth it. go all in and collect ur stolen blinds when no one calls. that is the only way to play it. ALL IN ALL THE TIME!!! (with pocket aces that is)

I play it with a big raise pre-flop to reduce the risk of that.
You will get many folds by people and loose easy chips.

I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM whenever i get them i actually jump up and down in joy and i usually dont lose with them because i usuallly just go all in before the flop to maximize my probabiliy of winning the hand i think most people hate them because they get too greedy.
