i can relate to you not liking them. Everyone knows their favorite hand is Aces, because its the best possible starting hand. In reality though many players fear them more than enjoy seeing them. For example me and my buddy always say OH SHIT! i have aces here comes a bad beat, especially online. My advice is just be aggressive with them and dont let someone limp in with Q10 or A2 56 suited lol!

Belive me, drkneenie it's right, and she's a very good player. You must go all-in especcialy in the start of a tourny were everyone is crazy making a big stack. You only wasn't lucky to someone to call you. But the play was good.

I think it depends on if you are playing online or live games. I know online for my self out of 57 times having AA I have won 35% of the time and yes I do track every hand I play online, it doesn't matter what position I am in if I slow play them or put in a bet 3 to 4 times the big blind. Some moron with T2 suited hits his flush or full house or tree of a kind. If I had T2 or similar suited or not and someone lays down 3-4 times the BB pre-flop I fold.

On the other hand when I go to the poker club different story I am more at 80% win with AA since you have the ability to face your opponent you get a since of what they have. And can play on their weakness and stare them down.

so all in all I think it really depends on where you are playing live or virtual. People seem more daring staring at a screen rather than staring the guy with AA who just re-raised your 22.

ACE ACE is over-rated. They look pre-flop but if you dont hit anything on the flop its nothing more than a pair. Then it becomes vunerable to any hand. 2 pair, three of a kind, a straight or a flush.

But in a short handed game pocket rockets are a game winning hand is played right. Most people complain about aces but in actual fact they played the hand terrible. So it really depends on the situation and timing of your hand.
