That's one thing that prevents me from playing any serious cash online. These types of Bad Beats (including Wu's) makes me shy away from wagering big bucks. I'll keep my stakes small and enjoyable (for now).

You know what is funny about hands like this. If you were playing on some sites that do the bad beat jackpot you would have gotten like 20,000 dollars for that bad beat. Then you wouldn't be complaining. I wouldn't play those jackpot tables either but I'm just saying. Pretty nice thought isn't it.

Why would you get the badbeat jackpot when QQ loses to AA? The fact that he caught his outs with QQ was a beat on AA, it was just an ugly way to lose after making a huge drawout.

I think the way that most of the 'badbeat jackpots' work is that if you lose when you have 4 of a kind or better, you can win the jackpot.

There are catches though - I read the rules at one site (don't remember which one). There were a lot of requirements that I forget, but I do remember that you MUST use both of your hole cards. So if you lose with 4 Aces, but 3 of them were on the table - you wouldn't win.

Stuff like that - tough to win, but definitely worth it if you do.

Well the truth is that was horrible. Second truth the guy wasn't getting off the hand no matter what. What was the donk with the straight doing in there?
I witnessed the dreaded 1 outer yesterday. Nut A flush and the guy hit his 1 out straight flush on the river. That donkey went on to 2 out the next person and 4 out me 2 hands later. Gotta love online poker sometimes.

lol ouch so many bad beats about quads. don't see anyone losing to straight flushes though. but yeah thank god you didn't have more money! 125 is nothing, with your ability i'm sure you can get it back in no time =P
