I don't think that extra points provides any incentive for me to be gunning for an opponent. Bounties on the other hand will make me Gung Ho. My first priorities are to maximize my wins, minimize my losses and get as deep into the tournie as possible. Stepping out on a limb early in the tournie for an extra couple of points makes no sense to me.

Sorry bbp, but I don't quite understand what you mean by this. Do you get +2 points for knocking out the winner of last time because its impossible to knock out the winner 2 consecutive weeks because you are the winner for the second week. Maybe your saying that if someone wins 2 consecutive weeks like I did you get extra points. Well if thats the case since I got knocked out by titan poker which is like myself do I get +2 points then?
