I love how your at the casino and you sit down shouder to shoulder practically and begin to (usually), become social with your neighbor and develop a kind of buddy buddy relationship. Sometimes people will even begin to show me their muck or even their hand while their playing it (i would be folded obviously). Its crazy how this happens. Meanwhile we would take eachothers money in a second atleast I WOULD, (after all its business), but SOME people will take it easy on you, thats why I always will use any edge I can get.

Case in point. Im at the borgata, AC, and ive been sitting next to this lasy for a couple hours i finally get ACES and come to find out she had KINGS and I 3 bet she calls and i went in on the dead flop, to be "nice" and send her te signal that i had the best hand, but she called, i dont blaim her, and when i won, she got mad at me like i was supposed to check it to the end. I told her "im sorry but its business" and she stored off. I just thought it was funny. And wondered of others stories.

At the poker table, it's all business. That doesn't mean you can't talk with other people there and actually get to know them, however. I think that playing soft just to help someone you were talking to out would be plain stupid. You're there to make money, not friends. However, sometimes you can do both, especially if you're sending money to everyone else.

Sounds like if she knew how to Buddy up, she could make more money or save some on her loses. Beauty, brains and non-tempermental don't often come in the same package. I agree, poker is about cashing in the big coin.

Even in a friendly home game when you're watching the game with the guys? If you guys play poker like this all the time I feel bad for you, it's nice relaxing and enjoying time playing poker with friends over making money. Casino poker and online poker, ok that's business. Friendly home games are FRIENDLY home games, winner doesn't hit it big if he cleans up and loser can't go broke busting out.
