i think that i am still a begginer play poker for 3 weeks and
i have won some $$$ but still a begginer
i hope i'm going better :P

I think i am currently some experiencedat MTTs. Though at cash games i am definitely below a beginner.

well I track my wins and final tables...

lasty year played 1247 tournys...(have a wide screen lap top and pixled to watch 4 at a time)

won 47 times

final table 301 times


this year having an off start

only won 5 times
52 final tables..

but having saidf that I have been playing more sng's and making more money that way.
been playing more ring games to learn my reads and develop more patience

also more qualifiers

won a seat to the outlaws of poker.
and in the final qualifier this week for a seat in the ultimate bet challenge on fox sports

I won the ESPN west palm beach classic...

so not winning as much but playing against more players and less of the all in mentality freerollers....

I'd say I'm advanced, but just barely. My play has been pretty good and I think I'm improving. I have been doing well in our league here and I have been doing well in cash games outside of the league.

Well i feel that i am an experienced player...and it actually took a long time to realize that their is so much to learn in poker...everytime i lose in a tourny or a game..i think back to my loss and i analyze it...and there is always a reason...to why you loss...so i try to play differently everytime...not my entire game...but handwise or betting wise to try to prevent myself from falling into the same hole...but only time can tell how good i am...but i can you one thing for sure...i will never...ever...go all in with a q-6...lol

I think that I am probably either a high level 2 or a low level 3 (based on the descriptions you gave).

Although the choices are a little vague.....do you mean experience just in terms of how much you've played? Or do you mean skill?

I was just a little confused as to why "Very Experienced" was ahead of "Advanced"

I think I am advanced but when I play against hacks i notice my level of play drops, now i personally do not think that anyone can truly judge there poker ability by simply on line play, for no matter what anyone tells me i really never completely trust the games to be honest. this is a little off the subject but i will explain why i feel this way about online poker.

It is due to the fact that poker sites base there income around how much they can rake, therefore giving people better hole cards and more straight and flush draws on the table enhance their take. i have especiallly noticed this at the ipoker sites.

anyways so i dont try to judge my play purely off online play, i find in persone i am strong my biggest weaknesses are showing tells, this is due to too much online play, and not being able to put weaker players on the right hand, last week in a tourney i lost out to a person hitting a straight with the hole card 57 i hit two pair with ace jack on the turn he already had the straight i noticed that is was on the table but i was like there is no way in hell that this dude could have called my initial raise pre flop with five seven, well it busted me out pretty much, so that was my bad,but a sound player in my opinion would never have called a raise three times the big blind against me. oh well so maybe noit expert but advanced.
