And yes like CNKIWI said, when you get AK or AQ you know you're gonna get fcked.

When I get AA push and get called I am actually surprised when I win one.

If I push with KK and get called I know either bullets are coming my way or A-anything is hitting that ace.

And when the stack is short and I push my 77 against AK, KQ, JQ... I know that I'm going down 90% of the time, even though I'm supposed to be a slight favourite.

Seeing the flop with QQ is really fun all the time with 50% of the time A is there. 20% of the time A and K are there and the rest of time either of those is coming on the river. But when you win with them, it is always against JJ.. some other poor soul getting his share of bad beats.

Flop comes 278. I make a huge bet, guy raises me all-in, I call and expect AA or KK as usual on stars.

He flips over 82 offsuit and takes the pot.

I am sorry about huge site or huge popularity. But the guy called a huge bet with NOTHING and hits two pair.

Do I feel cheated. Yes I do, beause I am being cheated. No one calls with 82 offsuit, not 20xBB. AND HITS!

How am I supposed to win, when things like that happen all the time? Tell me please. These are retarded players that were supposed to lose... but how?? when this rigged piece of shit site rewards their stupid ply time and time and time again.

I had always thought this topic was pure BS until now. Because I have fallen victim to Pokerstars pure BS. Anyways heres my story.

For the past few weeks I had changed my strategy after reading a few Poker books and started utilize some of the strategy. I was doing really well and eventually was up $3,000 from playing $100 to $200 Heads up Matches as well as $25 to $78 6 player matches. My wife had asked me if I can withdraw some of the money and buy her something with it. So I said sure, anyways I decided to withdraw $1000 of my winnings and figures I'll leave the other 2 grand for in there for now. and Guess what happens!!! since I withdrew the $1000, I had suddenly went on the worst bad luck streak I have ever seen in poker or anything else for that matter. when I first started losing I thought, okay a few bad beats, no problem, its a part of poker. Then when it continued happening and I was down to $1000 I thought okay something seem to be fishy. So I started keeping my bad beats statistics. I kept the stats of every situation since were I was ahead going into the river, and guess what. I have currently lost in 11 straight times when I'm ahead going into the river and my opponent just happened to magically catch the card that he needs. I have also lost and overall 27 of the last 33 times when I'm ahead going into the river. Not to mention my opponent just always catch miracle cards for some reason. Most of these times they have maybe a 5% chance of catching the cards. I have also lost since then 5 times when my opponents were dominated after the flop and they needed runner runner to get the lucky win and they get it. Now I know bad luck and bad beats are part of poker but I have not seen anything remotely close to this in real life. It's like there was a handicap put on me all the sudden and I can't win any important pots no matter how good my hand is because my opponents will always catch their miracle cards on the river or even runner runners. And of course is it really a coincidence that it just happens right after I withdrew some of my winnings. I shouldve listened to some of you and just withdrew it all. I think I'm done with Pokerstars, its a complete Joke!!! Anyone know any other good sites.

I completely understand you. Depens are you a player from US or from somewhere else.

I've heard stories that Full tilt poker also has the same stuff going as jokerstars and there are plenty of runner runner bad beats. Some other guys tell me it's better. So I don't really know.

If you're from Us than maybe you should try one of these:
Bodog (2400 ring game players, 9000 tournament at peak hours
Doyle's room (2000 ring/10000 tournament peak hours)
Sportsbook poker (1700/6000)
playersonly poker (1700/6000)

these are one of the largest... but probably the best alternative would be
full tilt poker (10500 ring game players and 70000 tournament players)

If you can play on clients that don't accept US players than you should definetly try one of iPoker network clients such as:
Titan poker, VC poker, CD poker, Noble poker. With VC and Titan being mostly used by players. there are 10000 ring game players and 55000 tournament players at peak hours.

I play on this network mostly. There are bad streaks, but are the normal poker bad streaks, they last some time and after that it's back to winning again.

I played also on Party Poker (9,500 ring-game players and 60,000 tournament players). Some players complaint it's rigged there also, but I can't say that, because I only played there for a month and the reason for 95% of my big losses was my stupidity.

Also a few players that i know like Ongame poker network:
Bwin poker, RedKings, pokerroom, mansion poker...

I can't tell much about those clients. I played a little on Bwin poker but mostly low stakes turbo sit&go's. Can't remeber of any huge bad beat there... but I was mostly using Bwin for sports betting, just played poker there for fun a few times.

The Ongame network has 9,000 ring-game players at peak hours and 45,000 tournament players at peak hours.

I agree with everyone convinced about "ps" bs. And to those who after reading all that can post 'not the cards you play but the way..' - you are IDIOTS.
My top mark at pokerstars was $300 after I deposited about 7 times by $50. Now at 0 again and never coming back!
I've seen all that have been posted before on ps: never get even a call on a first position with AA even without raising or someone goes all in after you flat call them and get a set of sixs and so on..
On a ring game I had KK and guy be4 me calls, I raise then he goes all in with 34 and gets 2pair.
On the $11 SnG on hand I had a set on a flop and keep betting with one guy calling everything at the end I go all in and he calls with 6,9( or smthg ) without anything not a pair or even possible str or flush draw!!!!!!!
And also once I wanted to enter to a $20 SnG and noticed(there was about 11 available one table once) only one guy was registered on all of them and no one else. Ok maybe 4,5 but ten torneys at a time?!! Isn't it better to play 3 with a higher buy in?
So what's now? Full Tilt? Party Poker? Thanks. Good Luck 2 all and fair game(which is more important in this case)

I bloody agree that poker stars is rigged. I dont play there anymore because they closed my account for flipping out on them. I deserved it though for flipping out at them like I did. I remember playing the 500 FPP to the sunday million. We were on the bubble and i was third in chips. 7 paid. Of course they give me AA vs the deepstack who held 10 10. Everytime I got KK when we were on the bubble or close to it I would show my hands, to show the donks I am only playing nut hands. So the deepstack raises UTG I push all in ASAP. He had 40k I had 22k Everyone knows I would never do that on the bubble with AK AQ crap like that. he calls and hits a ten. WHat a joke they always do that with the deepstack. Its bullshit. He was either A ps BOT or just a massive set up to bubble me. I knew right away when he called the 16k reraise I was going to lose to a set. BUt whatever poker stars is extrememly rigged. Why do you think people in rebuys try to get as many chips ASAP because its rigged for deepstacks. I played $3 rebuys once and in about 20 minutes I had 32k in chips. SO I wanted to see osmething so I called everyhand. 9 out of ten times I would hit the board hard. All because i was deepstack. I burned AA with 23 sooted. NOt cause im a donk but because I wanted to see if this is how the software is setup. I understand the delaing is faster. but no where on earth does a 5k tourney onlly last 8 hours. unless they create action for bad beats. fuck you rigged bitches.

Another thing about poker stars. DO NOT EVER MAKE A CASHOUT! As soon as your cash out its like they are mad at you and try to fuck you back. I started with $25 and got it up to $125 in about 5 days. So I thought ok ILL cash out $100 and grind again with $25. As soon as I cashed out and I mean ASAP. I started getting hammerred. I mean hammerred. No matter hwat I did I lost. I even lost a $5 buy in tourney on the bubble with quad jacks to runner runner str8 flush. So my roll went down to $3 and change. I played a sitngo as tight and the best I could. I won it thank god. So I took a break and left the $15 in my account. I came back and won a $3 45 man sitngo. and won a few other 9 seaters. GOt my roll up to like $90. Cashed out $50......ASAP as I did that i starte dlosing again. LOw and behold I lost 2 from the money with JJ vs a guy who miclicked with 7 2 OS. the flop was 7 2 2 turn J river 2. Like come on. that sjust not even real. Do you all know the online pro thenut21? He has made about 1 million on here. One tourney he placed 3rd in the sunday million. As soon as he cashed out a certain amount he went and played like $5k sitngo's. He lost so many to the most horrific stuff he had to leave pokerstars for quite sometime. Look at his sitngo stats if you dont believe me. SO DO NOT EVER CASH OUT UNTIL YOUR READY TO LEAVE!

My biggest thing that drives me crazy is what i call the SNG setup hands, which usally happen if the SNG has been going for a while. Seems if your the short stack or very close in chips to another player,I will be in the BB and check into the hand only to hit 2 pair on the flop, then bet it out and get reraised all-in only to see the other guy has 2 higher pair or a str8. Shit like this happens all the time! The hand is designed for 1 reason! to get both players chips into the middle, that way 1 player is gone. Pokerstars can't make any more money from you unless they get you out of 1 tourny to have you enter another. Also it seem these BB hands are always junk hands that you think could not possibly hit the other player, but it does. My last 3 shootout tournys ended this way.
1st tourny: 45s in SB (call) flop comes 547, being the short stack I push only to get called by 47 and the turn hits another 7
2nd tourny: K9 in BB (check) flop comes Q29 I bet get called turn K again I push only to see he has 10 J
3rd tourny: K7 in BB (check) flop comes K78 I go all-in get called by SUPRISE! K8
There are many more hands like this, and it happens so often, i usally tell myself out loud hear comes the 9 or whatever card the other guy needs to make that miraculas str8 on the river.
I sent emails to Pokerstars, and I get the same ole "you see more hands online". I also said that the calls I see people make a blind monkey wouldn't make. there response was if the bad palyers always folded the tourny would go on forever. That tells me that it seems like they encourage bad play. Well I have $4 left when it's gone, so am I!!
