Default Poker Tracker

A few months ago I tried Poker Tracker software and then threw it out because I found it user unfriendly and very little tech support. Does anyone here use that software to track their play and if not, could you recommed one that you're happy with?

Poker Tracker is really the best system for analyzing your hands, finding your leaks, etc. Especially if you've already bought it, it's probably better to find out how to best use it than to start over with something else.

You might want to consider getting the PT Guide - www.pokertrackerguide.com, or checking out their forum if there is a specific question you have.

I'm a user, so if anyone has a question, I can *try* and help.

Sounds like some interesting software to help your game. Often times I tell a player their weakness, but they won't hear it because they're cocky and think they're better than me. Sometimes they are better than me, but even if someone worse than me is giving me advise, I'll always consider it. The whole point of playing poker is to improve your game. With this software it sounds that there is no lying and it'll tell you the truth.

Thanks Tex: I didn't buy it but just used the trial period of a few thousand hands. When it came time to buying it I took it off of my computer. Maybe I'll actually buy it and make another effort. Part of the problem is that I'm both untalented and lazy when it comes to computer software.

Oh, I hear ya. Truth be told I haven't been using it as much as I should. But it's really nice to be able to go back and analyze a session to see if you made bad calls or were just unlucky, missed some opportunites, etc.

My advice would be if you're going to give PT a try again, definately get the guide too - gives you some real pointers on how to set it up right. Wish I had had it when I first got PT.
