Default Other WSOP entry methods

Since we all are clearly not against playing games of chance, and believe in plain old luck, I thought we could also share news of contests, etc. to win WSOP seats. No poker skill required!

Here's one -

From April 1 through June 15, 2006, specially marked one-gallon bottles of Mobil Delvac 1300 Super will feature an attached mail-in sweepstakes entry form. The specially marked bottles will be available at participating ExxonMobil lubricants distributors and lubricants installers and retailers. One grand prize winner will get, courtesy of ExxonMobil, a free trip to Las Vegas and a complimentary seat at the World Series of Poker's "No Limit Hold'em Championship," hosted by Harrah's Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, beginning July 15, 2006.

Soo....yea....if you happen to be in the need for oil, there ya go!

OK, so poker skill IS required in this one, but it's a freeroll, so I'm putting it here.

AOL is giving away a main event seat. They are running "satellites" into a tourney for the ME seat, where the top 100 gain entry. Then the winner from that big tourney gets the ME seat. It's all free, played on their site, etc.

Details here - http://wsop.aol.com/tourneys1/listtourneys.php

Sats are running now, and the big contest is on Sunday.

This is another freeroll (so it requires skill )but its not that hard to get in to and they are giving a way to get in to the main event. The Poker Podcast called the Circut, sponsered by Cardplayer magazine (I think I have metioned this show in a post before) is giving holding a freeroll for people who call in to there show or email with a good question or comment for there show.

I also really recomend this show for anyone who likes poker. Its one of the funniest shows I listen to. All you have to do to listen is go to Cardplayer.com and click on the Circut icon, or you can go to the itunes store and under podcasts look up the Circut. Right now they are covering the WPT $25000 championship event.

On many poker sites they have cheap tourney entries that the winner could be on his/her way to vegas on a poker tour which is paid in full. I look forward to being in one of these one day and will not accept anything but to go far in the tournament. I take pride in my game and feel anybody can win this tournament not just a known pro. Once I get on my feet and have a spare 10gs in my pocket I will be on my way to millions. or at least hopefully. Wish I was over 21 when poker first started being popular when there were less players. I'm not saying that I can't get far in a tourney with 5,000 + players but hey what's the chances of a person surviving the majority of their all ins. Odds are not in their favor but it is a must to go all in to win a tourney. Bottom line!
