Default KK (Cowboys)

I had two situations with KK. The first, I was in LP and raised 4BB and got one caller in EP. The flop came out A-J-T and the EP bet 4BB. I figured he had a hand (like pairing his A) so I layed it down.

The second situation, in a $0.25/$0.50 NL game, I had KK in LP and there were 4 limpers before me. I decided to go all-in with $5 and one of the limpers called with T-Js. The flop came out T-8-7, then 6 and 3. I had to sweat it out a little since he had a chance to catch his two pair, trips or straight. But I took him down.

Believe it or not but KK is a more winning hand for me than AA.
I usually raise big if there are many players at the table or don't raise at all if i'm behind the blind and players don't call the blind.
Happened to me twice this week to loose with AA and never loose with KK which i played more.

I love getting any pocket pair, but I love KK most of all. Other than the rare occurance of facing AA with the hand you are best. I love facing a guy with an A-? and especially big slick. This is a hand that I will not raise preflop with too often though. I love to see a flop figuring that if others are in the hand too at leats 1 must have an A. Then there is little chance that an A comes on the flop so I still have an over pair. Hoping that they didn't catch 2 pair I will take them out right there or raise em up big. I do mix it up though like normal so it depends on my attitude at the time.

Right now I'm not too fond of this hand. Playing a $5 dollar heads up Sit n Go last night I got it. I had a slight chip lead and got delt KK in SB. He raised 2xBB and I re-raised and he went all-in. I figured he had AK, AQ, AJ or middle PP. He flipped over A5 or some garbage. Of course he hit his Ace on the flop and that was pretty much the end of me. A5 and A6s are killing me lately!

I'm not sure what else I could have done here...

No it isn't. A-A is the best hand you can have. There's no debating that.

Actually it can be..How can you tell someone what hand wins more for them?
A man named john got KK/AA 10 times each.
With AA he won 8 times, his win% is 80.
With KK he won 9 times, his win% is 90.
With that said KK is winning more for him.

That's very short sighted statistics. Over time, aces will win more than more than kings just on the principle of basic stastics. If you play an infinate amount of hands with aces and an infinate amount of hands with kings, aces will perform significantly better than the kings. I don't care if over like 20 hands, kings have done better than aces.

Anybody who says they'd rather have kings than aces is a complete fool and are just fooling themselves with isolated and short-sighted results.

No, saying that K-K is better than A-A is not an opinion. There are statistics thatback up the FACT that A-A is better than K-K. There's a system of odds that proves that this is a fact and not debatable. Anyone who says otherwise is being foolish.

I agree with you abou the pocket A's, however take a chill pill.

Also i will take over anyday, what do you think? And I also think the stats show that AK suited wins more than JJ
