track1697 and BSgutshot are having a close battle for the highest # of forum points (different from league points). To make things clear, no more points will be counted once the freeroll tournament starts tomorrow. So whoever gets the highest number of forum points by 21:00, will be awarded +5 extra points.

I've been slacking the last couple of days. I started out with a bang, but then I have been doing less posting lately. Hopefully I can hold off track for those 5 points. lol.

I'm just waiting back in the grass and getting ready to pounce for them. Just kidding guys, I don't find the points thingy very tempting because I don't really believe in the idea. It's all you guys to run for the gold. I just post a lot because I enjoy doing so and love poker talks.

Not suggesting (example >) if you made sundays where post's get you no points the freeroll would be like 20 people. Last weeks was like 28 I think I saw later and this weeks with the guys rolling in on sunday to post I expect like 40.

Ok, so this would be me last week. I was not aware of the new changes and have not done that this week. I think I have posted 3 or 4 days as people reply to my posts. In any case, most of my posts come in bunches. If I have some time I enjoy reading and posting as I go along. Sunday tends to be the day I have the most time.

I would bet that is true for most people as well. I don't mind people posting on Sundays as it gives me new things to read the following week and comment on. Whether it comes during the week or on the weekend, I would have the say that there are good/great posts any day of the week.

I appreciate the new requirements for the freeroll. More importantly, I find this site to the be best in terms of poker knowledge and information. The site is easy to navigate as well.

GL at the tables.

well I think its coming to pass just what I predicted ...I consider myself a regular contributor to this forum and I post maybe 5 of 7 days a week and yet I dont accumulate enough points to ever play in a freeroll...I refuse to power post to just play a freeroll. I have enough self respect to never become a freeroll whore.

Having said that I think after 3 pages of postings about how flawed this new system is perhaps better energy would be spend on any one who has a better idea on how to get the regular posters in the freerolls and how to keep the poachers out.

Student, I was on spring break and basically had nothing to do all week. My friends were either still at college or they were working.
