I like the idea of not just having 1 tournament where anyone can win. It's a good idea to have a tourney that's worth more than any other one, but will work with the points we already have. I just hope I can be there for the final event.

I think it's really nice that were having a poker league ourself...it's a really great idea honestly and i can already see that so much members are interested in it and i kno everyone is as excited as me to participate. It's just another goal to reach but yeah just wanted to say thx and cya later.

Can you give us an update on the plans for the "Final Battle". There is a lot of interest amongst the tournie players. We're looking for:

1) Who will qualify? I think that top ten qualify and add the points to what has already been accumulated so that consistency and number of games played are rewarded
2) Where ? - Titan (of course, unless you're willing to fly us to BC, lol)
3) What Prizes are offerred? Please update.
4) When will it be? The 8th game will take place April 16, so the Final Battle may take place April 23 (Easter Sunday). I hope everyone is available. I personally prefer April 30.

Just thinking aloud. When you firm up some details, please start a new post (Final Battle Update or something). The League points are starting to tighten up. Thanks, Iceberg

Yeah, I am deffinately getting interested to what the final battles prizes and terms are gong to be. I have missed out in 3 league games now so I've dropped back to 9th in points. I just hope I make the final battle. I should make the rest of the events, but I would be dissapointed to miss out. It should be a great ending and even better final tournament.

I hear ya astro i didnt really get into this league until 3 torunies ago and i have done 3 and i have gotten like 10th 5th and 1st and i am still a ways down there so I think it should be top 15 (no biased there). but seriously i think we should just let someone who will be unbiased make the decision because of course gutshot will say top 5 Because hes In FIRST he wants as small a field as possible I say just stick to what we said in the beginning because that is back when there were no points and it is the most fair for all.

I can appreciate most of the issues that you are up against to satisfy this unruly mob (lol). For me, the Final Battle is gravy on a fine turkey and dressing dinner.
