What I'm wondering is how this final battle effects who will be crowned BBP League Champion? I'm assumming you mean this final battle will be after the 8 buy-ins and 8 freerolls. Will this final battle scoring be worth more or the same or does it not effect the scoring and a champion will be crowned after the 16 events?

Good question. What we originally had in mind won't work well due to the few participants. I'll get back to you later on this as we want to make the tounament fair and interesting for all.

Cool. The site seems to be picking up so hopefully it gathers some steam throughout the season and if and when we have season 2 we will have a larger field.

It's amazing how many freeroll hunters there are that won't throw in $2bucks for a buy-in.

Here's a rough answer to your question. The freeroll and buy-in (8+8) event points will have some weight on who gets crowned.

Don't sound so good.
If there will be 8-9 members with apropiate scoring or even equal. Then what do you do?
I missed the first 2 games but i will try to recover in time. Although finishing in top 5 is hard for me with such good players.
Maybe you can let the top 5 and the players that join at least 4 (half of the buy-ins) who didn't get into the top 5.
They really deserve it.

I thought this league would be based solely on the points system? So what else would be factored in to effect the top points leaders?


On that note, I don't think top 5 is enough people. I say it has to be at least top 10. And then have those 10 play a single table tourney. and prizes be awarded by place finished in it.

That just seems like the most logical to me..

Would be nice if all top 10 would get in the money in the tournament.
But i think is not possible on Titan. For 10 players only first three gets in the money. I'm not sure.

Top 10 would be good as well. Top 5 would really reward those who play every tournament and not just the freerolls, however.

I see your point and it makes sense. But think about how many people actually play the buy-in....not many, so it's not hard to get points, basically everyone will. And to me, thats ok b/c they participated more, but it doesnt necessarily mean they have to play well to get points. you can just sit out and take points. the tourney is so short. It would make more sense for the buy-in, to cut the points awarded in half since theres only about half as many people who played the freeroll.
