Default Flopped quads and lost....

Bought in for 50 at the .25/.50 on TP today

I get dealt 77 on the button. UTG raises to 3 dollars i call folds to me i call blinds fold.

flop(6.75)5 7 7

he raises to 6 dollars
re-raise to 12
he calls
turn(30.75)A
he checks i bet 15
he goes all in
i call
river(A)
he turns over AA quad aces
i'm still in somewhat shock over this i was so happy when i got him all in.

Ouch, that's really rough. Can't really blame the guy for going all in with top boat, but just a very tough beat.

Oh boy. I have had the happen to me too.

I really am begining to believe people who say online poker is "rigged". Not in that some people are able to cheat the system but rather that the software generates hands that will create big pots, hence increasing the rake.

Sorry aboug the loss.

I've never really experience a beat that bad myself. Thats why I don't think online poker is rigged. Percentages say that it's going to happen to people and it does, but very, very, very few people. I have been playing about 4 years and my worst beat was someone having a better full house than me when I had a full house. Something like this scenario....

... being dealt J10

flop A10J

turn 10

river 5

he would then turn over JJ or something...I guess my bad beats are still to come.

ouch. there is just no way to avoid that. top boat he had no choice but to call. that is one time i actually see AA winning a big pot though =) i know i always lose with it
