Happens all the time. That Q2 that you mention is one hand that I get a disporpotunate amount of times and have gotten it 4 times in a row on more than one occasion. Don't know what is up with that but I do know that when I am getting a group of these repeating hands it won't be a good day of poker so I shut the computer down and watch Friends reruns.

The crazy thing that I can't understand is that people think that it is random. Online poker by its very nature cannot be random. That being said yes there are days when I get 27 or some other garbage hand way to many times. I think that you should get 27 as often as you get KK and AA. Sure doesn't seem that way to me. I can get 27 5 to 10 times in a tournament, I never get AA or KK that often....

I have also got the same cards over again- 2 or 3 times in a row. It is really weird when that happens. I have got an A for 8 hands in a row and I think I had a different card to go along with it each time except I think I had A-10 twice. But I've never had AA in a row. I'm lucky if I get AA once much less 2 or 3 times. It does make you think alot about the cards when things like that happen. Especially when you lose to the same person 2 or 3 times in a row and everytime you see their cards they have AA or KK. It does make you wonder about the game and the site also. It's now common knowledge that I'm getting K, 9 about every other hand. In last night's league game, it was crazy! It seemed every player who got K, 9 won the hand! It sure is nice to get a weirdo hand that turns out to be a winner all of a sudden.

I'm glad K9 is working for you. In a game last night, I ran out of chips on K9 and had to play it, with predictable results.

online poker is set up for continually increasing players hands. the reasoning is the better the hand gets, the more u bet, the bigger the rake. its all about the rake

Hi eggmahn,

Do you have a source for this statement? It sounds like it would be counter to a site's profitability to rig games in that way. They want to continue making money, not be exposed for cheating, so it's in their best interest to make the games as fair and random as possible, rather than manipulating hands.
