A couple of months ago I stopped playing for a few days because over the course of 1 day I had KK 5 times and each time I lost (had to fold 4 times) and also lost with AA once.

Wow how is that even possible to get that many good cards in one day and lose 4 out of 5 times. Or did you win a few times with AA your not mentioning. Either way I'l probably take a few days off after that.

Having to have to fold KK 4 times...i would love to know what you are doing with KK preflop to have to fold it 4 times. For all you know you could of got bluffed out of the best hand. Technically you didn't lose since you folded.

The other day I was playing heads up ring games. NL .25/.50. Guy took $40 off me in 20 minutes. How? He caught 8 nut staights off me, and then took my final $10 with quad Js after I had caught trip aces on the flop. River gave him quad jacks, possibly the worst run of luck for me in a while. I came back to win back $20 against some other guy, however.

he's got a point there. folding KK is a PLUS. takes nuts to fold that monster, but i think you probably made the right decision. any other player would call KK to their graves.
