| I enjoy watching the champions league on ESPN. It doesn't matter who is playing. You can just feel the atmosphere pick up in those stadiums and the play is great. I am looking forward to the World Cup and hope to catch many of the games this year. In 2002 I would get up in the middle of the night to watch anyone play. That made for an interesting work environment later that day. I hope the US do well, just continue building on what they have been doing for the past 10+years. I don't expect too much, given the pool they are in, but you never know. Brazil is the favorites, but I am more interested to see how Germany does, given their drop over the past few years. |

Germany are playing very badly lately. Last year Romania - Germany 5-1. One wwk ago: Englad - Germany 5-1 The only team that remained in the cups is Shalke 04 in UEFA. I think they will not make anything in the World CUP. |

I think next mounth it will be a match between USA and Germany. They will play in Germany. It's the last chance for the germans to demonstrate that they are able to make a good World Cup tourny. Romania will also have a small tournament in USA at the end of may. I think that they will play 3 matches , one of USA team |

| Just got back from a family vacation in Canada. One big mistake - no internet access where we stayed. Being a family vacation, I couldn't really leave to find a place somewhere on the mountain. Anyway, I got a chance to watch some amazing soccer during that time. I have to say the English Premier League has some amazing soccer right now. There might be better soccer out there, but the EPL certainly has marketed themselves to seem to be the best league out there. |
