Thumbs up WSOP sats

On february 28th I won a seat to event #17 of the WSOP from a $20 freezeout sat. There are weekly $20 rebuy sats every monday night at Poker World, or Dig Dawg Poker. There are usually less than 50 people and the winner gets a seat to either event #17 or #40 plus $1k for expenses. The one I played had a total of $940 in buyins and paid $2k in prizes so it was a very nice overlay. They also have freerolls on the weekends to qualify for the $20 sats, plus some small $2 sats to the $20 sats. It doesn't seem like many of the $2 sats ever go on time, and most of the time when they do start, there isn't enough people for them to award a seat to the $20 sat(I don't know this from experience, i just heard that) but i do see a lot of the $2 sats waiting for people hours after they were supposed to have started. The easiest bet is to just buyin to the $20 sat, or play one of the freerolls. The freerolls award 5 seats to the $20 sat no matter how many enter, as long as the min. is reached which it always is in the freerolls.

Also if you win a seat from them, you get to play in an invitational tourney they are putting on in vegas the day before event #17. One bad thing about winning a seat from any site though is that you have to wear their gear, so although I have only played at their site once, I am gonna have to wear a bunch of Poker World gear at the WSOP. Maybe one of you guys will win a seat too and get to come join the fun and games in vegas, GL.....

I won something similar to that back in the day...Sat at a local tourny, played against 150 people at Ameristar Casino in St Louis, and the winner won alot of money and entry into a bigger sat that the top 2 won a package to go to Las Vegas and play in the WSOP...

But, too bad for me that I couldnt hit myself in the head at the Sat at Ameristar...I think I finished 112th...
