I was just wondering is having two people at the same online poker table that are friends common place? Are there any rules about this?

Why would there be a problem just sitting with someone you know? It's if you and your friend collude that a problem arises.

Well one of the guys is telling the other one what to do... Like when to fold etc...

Again...don't get upset at the freerollers Agreen. This guy just wants to create stupid threads to get points so he can freeroll it up later. I can't wait till monday so we can post for 5 days without these guys coming on and bothering us.

I am not here for freerolls I wont even go to one of your freerolls now that you have said this. I was just wondering if it is proper for people to be telling each other what moves to make at the poker table. I am just here trying to learn the game and to better myself at it.

I reported it and they said they are investigating it. I was just wondering because I would flop a good hand like trips bet. The one guy would sit there thinking about it and then the other would say fold and he would. They were also talking about things that made me believe they knew each other in person.

I know 2 of the people I work with who play on PokerStars that are always being at the same table but talking about their hands on Yahoo IM...I think this sort of thing absolutly kills the integrety of the game. They tried to get me in on in, but i just dont believe in it...I think its BS...

Yeah that's pretty bad - I don't think that I myself have been a victim of collusion (not that i know of anyways), but I'm pretty sure I've seen some stuff going on. The sad part is that some of the colluders make it ridiculously obvious, by chatting with someone else at the table in a different language.

This happened at one of my tables, and somebody else at the table informed us that they were going to report it - not sure what happened with those people, but I think collusion is a bigger problem than some people know or think it is.
