Everyone needs to calm down. The other mods and I know how annoying it is for you who are regular members to work at building the forum up and then see it "crashed" by people seeking freeroll entry only. It bugs us too, trust me. (How do you think I feel?? I have to read every post!! )

Keep in mind though - when you joined the forum, several others joined at the same time. We may never see them again, but you stayed, and you actively contribute. You can't say who is going to be a regular contributor or not, until they've had time to prove themselves. So give them a chance.

Of course we have people join up on freeroll day - that's only logical, since the way they find out about the site is to see the freeroll listing in the site tourney list. It's not fair to assume that everyone who signs up on a Sunday is immediately suspect.

The forum has moderators for this purpose. We keep an eye out for fluff posts, people who are abusing the system, etc. If you think there is someone we need to take a look at, PM us. There is no reason to air all this on the board. Not only does it not present our members in the best light, but it puts everyone's time and energies on this negative topic. How many points have been "earned" this week for posts having nothing to do with poker at all?

Forums fall apart because of things like this. I know none of us want that to happen here. So let's get back to the poker talk, ok?
