But it doesn't guarantee anything. Not all freeroll whores are born stupid, they could just post a lot of crap each week in advance and then leak the password like they've been doing each freeroll. I still like the buyin players only idea.

The problem is only like 24 people qualified and there were over 30 in the event. For some reason people love to leak the passwords no matter how late you send them out.

Well, 2 non members just finished 1-2. I would have won but my A-9 was beaten by 9-2. Yes, he went all in with 9-2. Caught the 2 on the flop and I lost. I played really well, got $15 for my efforts. I'd rather have it smaller for BBP members only and lose, honestly.

Hopefully we can iron something out so that we only have contributing members in the tourneys from now on

I am sure that this can be made.
I play also in another league which have this sistem and the players can join only in the day of the tournament.
This means that the list is sent on that day or the admin add users manually that day.
