UGGGHHHHH

U?NC losing to George Mason killed me. I knew George Mason was good, but I wasn't expecting them to beat UNC. I have 3 of my Elite 8 gone now with that loss. I can't afford another big loss or I am done for sure.

Hopefully Ohio State can come back, they're down 13 right now. Damn my brackets, they're getting busted like crazy today. I was doing so well the 1st round :/

Well, Bradley and George Mason are hurting me. I had both Pitt and UNC making elite 8. Other than that I'm still doing well, just a little worried about BC. I'd bet that Nova loses to Arizona, but regardless I'm not so sure BC could beat either team after watching them go 2OT with Pacific.

My bracket looks terrible. It's filled with fucture wrong predictions. I was doing so well, too.

We have an office pool going for $5 per bracket. We get one point per win and so far I have 29 out of a possible 48 points (not too good). These upsets are killing all of us. I still have 3oo8 elite 8 teams alive.

I don't like pools in which every win is one game, I don't think it's right that picking the champion is the same as getting a first-round #1v#16 game. In my office's pool the points awarded per win go up by 1. I don't know how I like this so far, but it's better than 1 point per game IMO.

Couldn't agree more. As it turns out, I am 8th out of 10 in the office pool (barf). It was a last minute thing and I don't think I would have done much better even with more thinking time. I like the pools where more points are awarded for your picks when they make it deeper into the bracket (ie 1 point for 1st round, 2 points for 2nd round, etc.). Next Year ...

Yeah the 1 point for each game, but i like it when an upset is +1 and each round increases. Right now im sitting at 3/30 with all my final four teams still intact . 10 dollar buy in 3rd gets 20, 2nd 50, first 200. HOpefully i can take it down.

7 of 8 of my elite eight are still alive and all four of my final four are still alive so I'm in decent shape. So we will see what happens this weekend if I'm still in as good shape.

I'm not much on basketball. I really don't watch many sports at all. Football is just about the only thing I watch (my husband is all for Dallas every year - he doesn't care how bad they are - he's a die hard Dallas fan) and then most years the only part of it I watch is the Superbowl.
