I agree that this would be desirable, but what about the people who are forced to sit by faulty Internet connections? It's not their fault that their connection went bad (usually.) Besides, a person can effectively be sitting by just folding every hand. S/he may be Broomcorn's Uncle, and s/he may finish the game out of the money, but it's a valid form of play.

For the record, I'm not advocating the strategy of sitting out for an entire game in the interest of finishing in the money by avoiding bad play. I'm just concerned about taking away the rights of those who actually would like to play according to the spirit of the game. I guess that means I'm playing devil's advocate.

I agree, I have such a crappy connection myself, that many times it has been a lifesaver, that I'm able 2 sit-out until I can return.

Could there be a system that monitors peoples connections 2?

Not an IT-expert, so can't say...

PokerStars does just that. PokerStars constantly pings the server to make sure the connection is good. If it is, it shows 100% connection when you hover your mouse over a player's icon. If they start losing packets, the percentage goes down.

I love how ap takes away the sitouts now. Its better because it doesn't takes off the time of tournaments. I have been at a table with nobody but sitouts. Its alright and boring but i hate when someone just takes everyones blinds.

The sitouts at the Spadeslounge frerolls are the worst I've seen. Blinds start out super low(5 chips) so they last forever!

On the other hand, I myself have had to sit out for extended periods of time and was extremely grateful of how I was able to come back(although a little shortstacked)

I've noticed that about ap freerolls and it always seems I have a good hand when they go all in. I of course always call and go out with AQ to a 24 or somthing of the sort. I don't play there very often any more though.

Red face sitouts

This is what Titan should do , The sitouts are really bad there and you can end up at a table where you are the only one . I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS but when you end up with three players and the rest sitouts it kinda hard

# 2 2000 Players

I kept track of a few more and the numbers were in the same range.

I have done very well at AP's freerolls with over $200 in my BR by playing very cautiously early. I now understand why but still don't understand why people get into them if they are going to play crazy. I have used it as a learning tool and although I'm not where I want to be yet, I am getting there.

Default Ap

Is overwhelmingly the worst site to play the public freerolls at, freerolls always have alot of poor play but nothing like AP. It's almost non exisitent where you will not get called with crap, and there are more allinners than any where else, it also seems like AP software gives extra flush draws, so playing smart and tight still doesnt get you to the money as much as youd like.
