I caught some very lucky cards towards the end. Went heads-up with UofTNick1 and had him on the ropes, but he caught a straight. Nice playing Nick to turn it around and win it all.

One very lucky hand that I had was I raised it in early position with AKs and Astros called me. The flop came out something like 8-5-3 rainbow. I made a bet and Astros went over top and I went all-in. I caught a K. Astros had JJ. Sorry man, I thought you were bluffing.

I also got a little payback and knocked out Agreen. I forget the hand. Payouts were $3.30 for 10th and up to about $40 for first. Great tournie, KUDOs to BBP for keeping out the pw thieves and also the Points have been reset already. Until next week ...

I had KQ and called a 300 raise of AGreen.
The flop came : Q 8 10
I bet 60 and he goes all-in. I call.
He had : 10 10
Next cards: 7 4 no use

Second get me out of the tourny:
I had AJ raising 200 preflop.
Greendrag00n on BB called :
The flop: 8 6 A
He checked, I bet 100 and he goes all-in.
He had : 8 A
Next cards didn't help me: A Q

Tough luck, those are some hard hands to lose with. At least you made the money and there is no difference between 6th - 10th place. I usually play ultra-aggressive at that time of the tournie (oops too much info, LOL).

I seem to vaguely remember holding some pocket 9's then getting quads on an all-in. Can anyone fill-in the blanks for me. I was distracted at the time.

Good game everyone. I had jury duty today and then I have to drive to Western PA for work so I'm not sure if I'll be settled in before the buy-in event tongiht. How did last nights SNG go? Too bad I just missed that as well.

I finished 14th,.....wow...I was at a final table and down to less then 30 people at another and I thought I finished higher then that ....guess when you lose the memory is lost as well....congrats to the winners.

Iceberg and I had a pretty long heads up battle, with each of us exchanging some suckouts on the river. I was very fortunate to catch some cards and come out on top - iceberg would have been just as deserving of a winner.

Yeah Nick, the Heads-up had many swings and must have gone on for about half an hour. What a Grindfest. I was dominating for the first half, then the cards fell in your favor and out I went.

Just for everyone's info, I believe there were 4 players left at the 1st and only break.

Congrats to UofTnick and Icburg. You guys played well and caught the cards you needed. I had my opportunites, but couldn't convert and I made a bad decision. Oh well...next week will be here in no time. See you guys tonight hopefully. I may be sleeping still then, but I hope I wake up in time.
