| If you want to be good at poker you obviously have to consider all parts of a poker game. You have to consider the position, blinds size, pot sizes, limit, players playing style, chip stacks of others and not only you, and other things. Poker has so many factors to consider each hand that it sometimes becomes overwhelming. Most players probably don't think about all of these while playing, but truthfully I watch everything everyhand. It's the only way I know how to play, all in or fold (not the stupid game all in or fold like on pokerstars play money).

| It's too wide of a topic to be covered in a post. Its best to purchase a Poker book and read up on each topic separately. Its good to adopt a basic strategy, then you need to figure out how to maximize your winnings against certain types of players. Check out the Book Posts Section and also the Freeroll Tournaments Section. |

| For the most part I play my cards. But you can usually tell pretty quickly who will lay down hands easily, calls a lot, etc. So you can raise with some marginal hands if you're up against those who are too weak. Unless you're playing with a bunch of world class players, there really isn't a reason to do much more than play your cards - there are too many calling stations out there, too many people pushing their own razor thin edges and then losing. You can outlast a large portion of a tourney field by just being patient. The FTP guarantee tournies routinely loose 1/2 the field by the break, sometimes sooner. It's insane.
