| I have been hearing on other sites about software called "Pokeredge" but my playing site, Pokerstars, does not allow it. Can anyone tell me how pokerstars would know I was using it? Also I'd love to hear some reviews on the software from those of you who use it. |

| No, it's not cheating software. What it does is rate the players you are up against. It's got a data base which includes all of the hands people have played on the internet and it tells you whether or not they are successful players. Sounds like incredible software but I can't get the people who actually use it to discuss it. |

| You can do the same thing with Poker Tracker, except it will only rate those players you have hand histories on. Those aren't hard to get of course - you can grab them from just about any table you're observing.

| Tex: It's a funny thing but poker tracker is not outlawed by Poker Stars whereas pokeredge is. I've already got somewhat of a book on the guys I've played with but pokeredge gives you a person's whole internet poker history. I'm still wondering how Pokerstars can find out a person is using the software. Wish someone would explain. By the way, do you like pokertracker? I found it hard to use. |
