was in a tounry tonite....

player one has pair of 7's

player 2 has king queen

they both call the minimum to see the flop...flop is king 7 7

so now player is happy he has 2 pair but cautious incase player one has a king with higher kicker or worst case scenario that he has a trip 7's

so they both call...turn is a king.....now player 2 makes a modest raise and player 1 reraised and in a series of rerasies they both end up all in both confident that they are gonna be the winner....

the cards turn over and player 2 sees its worse then he could have thought
that player 1 has quads.....and then the river card turns over that 4th king for quads .....

player two a couple minutes later said to the stunned silent table dont I get a wow or nh....I had yes you do ...both had great hands and both had every reason to believe they were dominating the hand it was just such a wierd hand the table was shocked at the kings and feeling the other players pain so no player thought to type in a comment.

That really sucks. I never want my quads to lose to higher quads. If this happens I pray that I was playing at a bad beat jackpot table and had at least 8's. Then I wouldn't be mad at all. Otherwise watch out, because I'm going to go off on someone.

That probly should be the hand that shows you what Online Poker is all about... WOW...

ya that really blows what are the odds of getting runner runner kings for quads dang ya that really blows but hey thats poker.

Yeah to bad that it wasnt in one of those situations that give bonuses when your quads get beaten.
