Who here fires 3 bullets with air? I usually shut it down after the turn unless the pot is huge i.e. stack/pot ration is under 3:2. Whats your move playing a pot 2/3 the size of your stack? Fire again effectively crippling yourself in the tourney or check it down and lose a huge pot? If your going to bet how much an all in can be taken as a bluff a lot of times. The opponent has shown no aggression to this point OBVIOUSLY if they re-raised or raised i'd be out.

I really don't ever bluff 3 times. After the 2nd time I realize he is a calling station or has a hand. Both of which will beat me so I fold. One of my favorite bluffs though is the call to bluff. It's when you have nothing and a guy bets to you and you call knowing you are going to try and bluff after the next card. I learned this technique watching players on tv and it is pretty damn good. The key is the bluff bet has to be much more than the pot size.

I would almost never fire the thrid bullet, I would rather still have an ok stack then mabye being out of the tourny. The only time that I would bet again is if there was a flush draw out on the board and I can safely put my opponet on a missed flush, and have seen that oppoent chase to the river before. I have only done this once when I knew the guy was on the draw and I pushed him out on the river.

I used to occasionally do that but I have learned to be disciplined and pick my spots...no point in giving chips away,

it depends if there were 2 of the same suit or connecting cards i might fire a thrid shit but if the bluff was completly unwarrented the whole way then I would probably try not to compound the error by betting anymore.

I will fire with air 3 times only if I truelly believe the person does not have a strong hand or the river looks like it may have helped me. A lot of times people don't except someone to bluff 3 times so if you stay strong they'll probably lay the hand down. You have to look at who your playing and chipstacks aswell. Your not going to want to bluff a calling station because its just a stupid move. Also if someone has a monster stack their probably going to call you if they have something decent.
