Default I Hate the Prima Poker Rooms!!!

I was just playing the free $10 that Dream Poker gives you (was downloading all the Poker Rooms needed for the Poker Forum Championships) Now I have always said that I hate the Prima rooms, as all I see in them is bad Bead after Bad Beat. I actually believe that the Prima Rooms are gears for exciting plays...ultimate Drawouts....etc. I built my stack up to $95 and decided to get into the 1-2 NL ring game, just because its free money, and I figured I could get the Raked hands up quickly. I was up to $143 and there is 1 guy in there with over $200... Everyone else was pretty close... after I fot to $143, I couldnt catch ANYTHING....Finally, I have 10s 8s. no one raise before the flop, and I was Big Blind, so I just check.... Flop came 10c, 10h, 6c... so I thought wow....this is Nice...I bet $10...The Chip leader reraised $20 more. I call... The turn comes 5c. I check... he puts me all in...I call....He has 7c and 9c.... Final card....you guested it....8c....my full house if beat by a gutshot straight flush drive that pays...I coudlnt believe it...

And this isnt the first time this has happened on a Prima client...when I played on BetonUSA.com....It happened left and right...Its redictulous. I know titan Poker has bad beats, but Prima are not only bad Beats, they seem to be those kind of astonishing 1 in a Million bad beats that if they happened at a Casino...someone wouldnt probly blow their own head off while walking to their car. Bad part is....THEY HAPPEN ALL THE FUCKING TIME on Prima rooms...

I am almost tempted to pull out of the Poker Forums Champ thing because of the Prima Rooms, but I wanna play because I actually think I can help get this site out in the open...I am sorry for the rant, I just get timed of the Prima Rooms guys...I have friends that win a ton in Prima rooms, but they will also be the first to tell you how horrible the beats are...doesnt make a ton of sense...

Ernie

He had you beat on the turn when you called his all in bet. You only had 2 outs so your chances to win were very, very slim. Thats a huge bet to call with 3 clubs on the board. I agree it sucks to lose to a boat to a flush, but you had to figure there was a good chance you were beat on the turn. What could he have had to push all in on the turn?

It either had to be a flush, 10 with chance of better kicker, or maybe he had already made a boat. Could he really have been pushing all in a stone bluff, two pair, or straight/flush draw. It's possible, but I wouldn't expect it in a 1/2 NL ring game, thats more of a freeroller move. Its a very hard lay down but unless this guy has been playing super aggressively you have to figure there is a good chance your beat with only 2 outs with 1 card to go and your pot odds don't sound like they were great unless there were a lot more people in pot.

OK guys, how many outs?

1 10, 3 5's, 3 6's, 2 8's since 8c is dead

- You were 70/30 to win after the flop, and 20/80 after the turn. In his position I make the same play, except maybe slow down on the turn after making my flush. Board is paired and a ton of money is going in. If you pushed there, becoming the aggressor, I still have to call with my made flush and at least 1-outer if I made the wrong read and you've got a boat/higher flush.

I agree that Prima deals a "Way Above Average" amount of great hands. I usually play just a portion of my bankroll just in case. I have a "Hit and Run" philosophy with all Prima Sites. That was ugly luck on that guy catching his straight flush.

Ok yea, I forgot about pairing the board would give him a few extra outs. Either way it was looking good for Ernie on the turn.

true. ILLINIA, I'm suprised the 3 clubs didnt phase you. After you get raised on the flop, you have to start putting this guy on a hand. What did you think he had? I would be afraid of being out-kicked, so maybe he had AT or something. I HAVE to rule in the fact that he has some high flush draw. Or maybe, he just had an over pair, which wouldve been the best case scenario for you.

With that being said, did you even put him on a hand? If so, what hand? Honestly, I don't think you thought about anything, and you just saw your trip tens, and said to yourself, I'm winning this pot. Bad play on your part.

they cant have a higher then average above amount of good hands ....after all so many people disagreed with me about random number generators....but you are right .....I have a hit n run style there as well...

that is terrible. i've heard many complaints that prima poker is rigged. i dunno about that. but all this talk has made me refrain from downloading it. i think titan poker and my own bad beats are bad enough!

I feel your pain. I had similar things happen on Prima. Is it rigged? I do not think so. Instead I think the progam allows flops to come out in a way to produce big hands. Do you call that rigged or simply a change is odds, I do not know.

Sorry though.

Ok, I have read this same frustration with every site out there it seems. Can someone tell me one site where this doesn't happen? It seems to me we all remember the cards where we lose and rarely remember all the times that we win with the higher percentage. How many times did the cards play out correctly before the one time you got the bad beat?

In this case I would have probably called as well, but those hands have to come out at some time. It is just unfortunate that you had a great hand that would be hard to fold on. I feel for you but don't believe this is the fault of the poker site.
