| First of all when you post a hand like this try to give some backround infomation. I am going to assume that: This is a MTT tourny and your table only has 8 people. You are playing NLHE The blinds are 100/200 The pot is 2240 after the BB went allin (Button 200 You 200 BB 1840) It will cost you 1640 to call. You really arent getting very good pot odds to make a call like this with only 2240 in the pot and 1640 for you to call. So I would almost always lay this hand down. The only exception would be if you have seen the BB play loose and make a play like this before because he could be just trying to pick up the pot since you and the Button showed weakness with just calling. But he probally wouldnt put his whole stack on the line and since you are in good postion chip wise I would just let him take this one and fight for another pot. Another way you could have played this hand was to raise from the start. I might have just gone ahead and put the BB allin since the Button probaly doesnt have a hand since he just called. You then force the BB to pick up a hand to call all his chips. So this would have been a good situation to pick up a pot. What was the outcome of the hand?

| too many factors which weren't stated but generally speaking this moves seems likely with hands like JJ, TT,99, AQ~A8, KQ, are you getting pot odds? no is the raise less than 10% of your stack to give u a comfortable situation to call and lose? no will ur hand ever be ahead? nope fold ![]() |

| Clear fold. For one your hand sucks and i don't ever want to be putting chips in with this hand unless its a resteal/steal. Calling an all in with J9 with your stack sizes is horrid. Maybe he is getting tricky and found a nice spot to pick up a few blinds if so good for him, but you're hand just sucks. The problem with putting the bb all in here is the button. If he has a monster your screwed or if he has a decent hands your playing OOP with crap. Complete/fold is the way to play this and if you called i hope your luckbox was running well. After looking at the stack sizes this is a CLEAR FOLD. With UTG stack size nobody is going to or should be risking their tourney life with crap which really narrows his range down unless he is a thinking player. Whats the buy in? I could see myself making this move with any 2 cards making people think i'd be pushing only premium hands considering utg is almost out of here, but i doubt an unknown would be making this play in a <10 dollar buy in. If its more than maybe, but your hand still sucks so fold. -ad |

| I figured his range here is AK-T, KQ-T or any pocket pair. Anyway, I was getting almost 2:1 on my money and it was something like 1/10th of my stack to call, so after thinking for about a minute I called, hoping for an underpair or at least for me to have live cards and a decent chance of taking someone out and bringing myself closer to the money, knowing that I still have a healthy stack if I call and lose. He flipped up AT, I flopped a 9 and the turn 3 and river 2
