Default Bot party

There's discussion over at 2+2 about at least 18 identified bots that are playing the $22 SnGs, often staying online for days at a time. It's a long thread , but bascially these bots were ID'd by a player because they would all raise all-in for 95% of their stack - a weird move, and one that these same players made time and time again. In addition, the bots always sit in the same seat at an SnG (you can pick your seat at Party). The guess is that this was done in the programming to prevent the bots from playing against each other. I'm not sure how many of you play at Party, but here are the names to be on the lookout for -
1 ragra
2 frnchrev
3 lvstrg
4 thathy
5 hnglos
6 sanroad
7 micmonn
8 k1muller
9 trvndrm
10 remick2
11 mdwlrk
12 bmpcch
13 iluvaks
14 rswhlr
15 dabsop
16 josamart
17 cufutbl
18 pbnsub

It's not too hard to beat a bot if you're paying attention, as the moves are of course programmed and therefore repetative. But for people who multi-table, and therefore aren't paying a lot of attention, a bot could take them down.

Bots are used by many people, at many different sites - the big discussion is that the sites don't do a lot to prevent it from happening, nor are they really looking for these things. The fact that a player noticed this before Party did says a lot - and these things have been running for months.

I actually won't mind this. Since a bot is programmed, and i like to watch my players moves, i might have an edge over it.

doesn't seem like it's so hard to bust them if all they do is go all in or fold

Wow quite interesting thread on 2+2. So let me make sure I understand this correctly. People sign up an account then they program a bot to play for them. These bots seem to finish ITM at a decent rate and if so they clear a nice little profit especially since these guys run them constantly. Or in some cases casinos actually use bots to infalite the amount of players so more and bigger games get going so they can get a bigger rake. Plus if the bot is winning for them that is an added plus.

Whats with Party's security department??? They have a bug in their software that allows people to log in with different accounts on the same machine and they can't catch on that people are using this to use multiple accounts to play in the same tourney. I can't imagine the other casinos are any better, but its quite suprizing that Party is so horrible with cheats. Hopefully after JJProdigy and ZeeJustin getting nabbed they are going to actually try to crack down their security and fix some of these flaws...

I agree, I kind of would like to play a bot just to see how good they are and too see if I could take them down.
