Be more specific. What were the blinds, chipstacks. How many people were playing? I probably would have called if it was only a couple of people playing. Players like to bet 2 pair on those types of flops. If the table had 6 players or less, I probably would have taken the risk.

If it was at a 10 player SnG, I probably would have folded just as you did. Chances are he has a better kicker and don't want to be out that quick especially if it was a bigger money tourney.

Tough decision, could have gone either way, honestly.

I would call that. in a 10 man sng, those are the best chances to double up quick. Lots of morons try to bluff at things like this, and get their hands caught in the cookie jar quite often. i say push it, and if he's got KK, than gg you, and sign up for another one.

I'd call putting him on something like K-Q which is understandable for his all in. If wrong and he not having KK and just an A with bigger kicker it's quite possible I could have gotten alot of cards to come to split the pot too.

if it wass only for KK i would have calld..but i was afraid of A whith a bigger kicker...the guy muckd so i think that was a bluff..but next time i think i will do the same...maybe i am wrong but still i hate be kicked out in the start of the tourny...maybe it that was in the end..i would have called

I would 99% of the time call because you really have no reason to think that he has KK or a better A because he probaly wouldnt go all in with that kind of hand. He would be more likely make a small raise especially sinc the blinds are small and there is almost no pot to win.

i'm surprised so many people are saying call??
my answer, nice and simple: fold.
(although i'd probably recklessly call because i'm crap at poker!)

reasoning:
1. the SNG started just a while ago
2. blinds are small. it doen'st really matter if u lose that blind.
3. you don't know your opponent yet. got any reads? why the massive overbet? has he got a strong hand and did that purposely because he thought u might call? or is he a wacko who just does that for no reason?
u don't know.
what you do know, is that if he has u beat, your out.
if you fold, u lose one big blind.

sure you guys are gonna say that the guy could be a wacko so you should call and get an easy early double up. BUT:
1. you aren't sure, so why risk it?
2. if he is so crap that he'd go all in without even holding an ace, then you'll eventually get his chips anyways because he is bad.
u can make an easier call next time when he pushes to you like that and you are holding something better than a weak ace.
no point trying to double up now while risking to bust, when u can double up from the guy without having to rrisk busting.

It's no point of tacking such a risk at a begining of a SNG.
I play many hands were i losed because he had a high kicker.
