Nice hand.
I'm surprised about the low stacks that players have at such a table.
The slow play on that turn was a very good move.

Yes I know what you mean about the stack sizes. It seems rediculous to play on such a small stack, but when I get to a 4-handed table where everyone has less than $5, then $5 seems ok to play with. The most I usually enter with is $20, which is at the .25/.50 limit.

I disagree with the check on the turn. One reason is that there are 3 flush cards on the board so you are giving the guy a free chance to beat you if he has a Spade. Another reason is that you already check raised him on the flop and he called you so if you bet on the turn he probaly is going to call you again unless he has two high cards, but he might still call you there because I have seen people in low limit games just call down to the end with high. So over the long run you are just giving him a shot to beat you with a flush.

Also if you are going to slow play a hand, I like to wait to the turn to raise because the bets are doubles so you can get more money in there if he calls you. So I would have just called on the flop and then he probaly would have bet again on the turn and then you can make your move.

good advice. i did not mention that this player was very loose aggressive. he was raising most hands PF, and often all streets too. Saw his cards many times, and was chasing mostly. so... thats my reasoning for the check.

but if that flush came i think that nobody would fold his trips on limit game..
that's the point of limit hold'em - you can't bankrupt in one hand

Good job trips im very proud of you. Even knowing i hate limit poker now... i would of thought for sure you were beat though by that flush or a straight if there is even one. As you can tell i didnt observe it very well and cant remember if there was one or not. But the point is you won, we dont need to talk about what i did or did not do .

To the End!
